Summer in Texas is one of those things you have a really hard time explaining to other people if they haven’t experienced it, you know what I mean? People who live up north think they know what 100 degrees feels like but they don’t really until they’ve also experienced it with 100% humidity as well. Since I grew up here I knew what weather to expect this summer but it was still a shock when that first really hot day hit.
I went to WWW.SHOPELECTRICITYRatesTEXAS.com since my sister told me about it and it’s really helped with those astronomical heating and air bills I get here. I love this time of year, though, because I get to go hang out with my friends at the river and play at all the rooftop bars which are things I look forward to all year when the weather is cold! I love being a Texan and I wouldn’t have it any other way but I’ll be really glad when another cold front comes through, that’s for sure!

Which coffee chain do my fellow readers think are the best? Two of my friends swear it's Starbuck's one swears it's Caribou Coffee, another is claiming it's Seattle's Best. I guess everyone has there own opinion, but I'm stumped. I really don't want to stay home today and finish this English report, but I don't want to be drinking crappy coffee in an overcrowded cafe either. Starbuck's tends to be the most popular in the area, so it will most definitely be crowded, I guess I'll try and avoid that place, at least for today.
Well I guess I'll try Caribou Coffee since my friend swears they have the extra creamy texture in there coffee. Maybe it's just what I need to get over the “writer's block”, that's preventing my report from getting finished.
Then again, maybe I can find a local coffee house, that's not part of a big franchise. I find those places are usually the ones with exceptional coffee blends. I'll figure this out soon, but for now I have to sign off and set my home security alarm (Home security system), and then decide for myself where the best place is to get coffee in this town.

During our trip to Buffalo, NY, we always visit Niagara Falls. Niagara falls is less than an hour away from Buffalo so it is actually very convenient. Niagara falls is a very popular and beautiful attraction of waterfalls located on the Niagara River. It is such a sight to see especially at night because there are beautiful lights that are lit. We take pictures and enjoy the sight.
Besides visiting the falls, we prefer to spend most of our trip together in the home just enjoying the company of one another. We also enjoy eating the delicious home cooked holiday meals and treats. The holidays are definitely the perfect time to spend with the ones you love the most and that is what we do.

It's just not Christmas if I haven't sat down and enjoyed The Bishop's Wife. As it happens, I just did that a few days back when it aired on satellite TV from http://www.directstartv.com/localchannels/. I'll watch it again if they replay it, too.
The Bishop's Wife is a truly fantastic holiday film. It's a comedy and a drama both, with a touch of romance and a smidgen of magic. It's beautiful.
I've seen the promotional reel that the producers used to tease viewers to watch, calling the movie a man's film and a woman's movie. They were right because there really is something for everyone in this favorite of mine.
The suave and oh-so-handsome Cary Grant had the lead role as Dudley, an angel, who is sent to answer the prayer of the bishop, played by David Niven. The bishop has become a little too focused on his desire to get a new church built and is neglecting his lovely wife and daughter. Dudley recognizes this and uses it to reach the bishop.
The wife is portrayed by Loretta Young. She's perfect for the part, and she has a great rapport with Grant. It was on screen magic.
The one element of the film that takes me out of the story is the ice skating scene, only because it's so obviously fake. Other than that, it's pure magic.
I appreciate the guest post, Rodrigo Coffey
